Parish Priest of the St. James Catholic Church, Osu, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obeng Cudjoe, has been retained as Public Relations Officer for the National Union of Ghana Catholic Diocesan Priests’ Associations (NUGCDPA).
Fr. Cudjoe was retained together with all other members of the national executive body of the union at its 2023 congress held in the Koforidua Diocese in early January.
The other retained executives are Very Rev. Fr. Thaddeus Kusah, President, Very Rev. Fr. Frank Owusu Sekyere Vice, Rev. Fr. Benedict Belieb Financial Secretary and Rev. Fr. ING. Daniel TettehTackie Recording Secretary.
The union also has Very Rev. Fr. Gabriel Liatsiedzi as its Executive Secretary with Very Rev. Fr. Edwin Terrace Adzimah as Director for the Centre for Human Development (CEHUD).
The executives were retained in a unanimous decision following what members of the union described as good work done and are expected to serve for the next four years.
Speaking at their installation, the Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese, Most Rev. Joseph Afrifra-Agyekum urged the leadership of NUGCDPA to continue the work they did to earn the trust of their members.
