The parish priest, faithful, and youth of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Odorkor, has welcomed a new leadership for its Parish Youth Council.
The new leadership took office on Sunday, Sunday, 22nd January 2023 to serve for a two-year term.
The swearing-in event was preceded by a Mass said by the Youth Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ndode.
The Parish Youth Council Executive has Dr. Benjamin Kissi Sasu, serving as the new Chairman, and Seth Ofori-Boateng as Vice Chairman. The other positions are General Secretary held by Priscilla Asmah and assisted Edith Turkson. Organising Secretary is Enoch Atidoh, assisted by Ruby Veronica Amponsah.
Christiana Apprey will serve on the executive committee as Financial Secretary.
The focus for 2023-2024 administrative year is “A Holistic Youth Development in a rapidly changing world: A task for all.”
The Youth Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ndode called on all parishioners especially parents to support and encourage their children to be active youths and give support to the executives.
