Monsignor Anthony Narh Asare was born on 29th December 1965 at Agomanya, Eastern Region.
He studied at Tema Secondary School where he obtained his O-Level and A-Level at Labone Secondary School in Accra. In 1988 he obtained a Certificate in Insurance and Project management.
He had his Ecclesiastical studies and seminary formation at St. Paul’s Catholic
Seminary, Acera and at St. Peter’s Regional Seminary, Pedu in Cape Coast. In 1993, he obtained his Diploma in Theology at the University of Ghana, Legon. He holds the following Degrees and Certificates: MA in Management from Dublin City University Ireland, 2008-2009; MA in Leadership and Pastoral Care – DOU, Ireland, 2009-2010; MAP: Masters in Supervisory Practice – DCU, Ireland, 2010.

Monsignor Anthony Narh Asare is presently the Parish Priest of Ss. Ann and Joachim Parish, Teshie, Accra and Director of Priests’ Personnel of Accra Archdiocese.
On 14 February 2023, His Holiness Pope Francis appointed him Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Accra and is assigned the Titular Scat of Castello di Numidia (Castellanes in Numidia), pr. Numidia.
He was appointed together with Monsignor John Kobina Louis, Ph.D as Auxiliary Bishop-Elects and will assist Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie in the administration of the Accra Archdiocese when ordained later this year.
