The Diocesan Formation and Counselling Centre in Nsuta Buem of the Catholic Diocese of Jasikan is readying to host the 2023 Accra Zonal Provincial Study Session.
The study session, scheduled to take place from Thursday, 23rd to Sunday, 26th February 2023, will bring together youth from the Six Dioceses in the Accra Provence of the Catholic Church.
The theme for this year’s Study Session is “Post Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Christi Vivit.” The four-day programme according to organizers promises to be an exciting event for the youth, as they deliberate on the new youth policy and other issues affecting the youth of the church.
The six Dioceses which will participate in the Study Session include the Accra Archdiocese, Koforidua Diocese, Ho Diocese, Keta-Akatsi Diocese, Donkokrom Vicariate, and the host Diocese Jasikan Diocese.
The Study Session provides a unique opportunity for young people from different Dioceses to come together and share their experiences, learn from one another, and develop a sense of unity.
The session is also expected to be a hub of activity, as participants engage in various workshops and discussions, all centered on the theme of the event as participants will have opportunities to socialize, make new friends, and participate in team-building exercises.
The event promises to be a momentous occasion for the youth of the Accra Provence of the Catholic Church and will serve as a catalyst for change, providing young people with the tools they need to make a difference in their communities.
