Fr. Bernard Ackon of Cape Coast Archdiocese passes on

Rev. Fr. Bernard Ackon, Parish Priest of St. John the Baptist Church, Saltpond has died.

A communique issued by the Vicar General of the Archdiocese said the priest died at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital after he was rushed there in the evening of February 21, 2023.

“I regret to inform you of the sudden passing away of Rev. Fr. Bernard Ackon, Parish Priest of St. John the Baptist Church, Saltpond. Father Ackon was rushed to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital last night but did not make it, tried as the Doctors did,” the communique said.
