Very Rev. Fr. Paul Saa-Dade Ennin, SMA of Ghana, has been elected as the new President of the Major Superiors Conference of West Africa (MSCWA).
Fr. Ennin, SMA, currently the Conference of Major Superiors of Religious in Ghana (CMSR-G), was elected to the position during the 11th General Assembly of the MSCWA held in Cotonou, Benin, from February 10 – 12, 2023.
A statement signed by the Secretary General of the Conference, Sr. Marie Antoinette Dossou, SSA, indicated that Sr. Francisca Damoah, SIJ, also from Ghana has also been elected to the position of Vice-President whiles Friar Jean Daniel Barboza (FSC) from Guinea Conakry and Sr. Josephine Ebuehi, SSH from Nigeria will serve as first and second Councilors respectively.
Very Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Paul Saa-Dade Ennin, SMA together with other members of the leadership are expected to work tirelessly for the growth and development of the conference.
It can be recalled that, Very Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Paul Saa-Dade Ennin, SMA and Sr. Francisca Damoah, SIJ were both elected as President and Vice respectively of the Conference of Major Superiors of Religious in Ghana at an Bi-Annual Meeting held at Koforidua in November, 2022.
The Major Superiors Conference of West Africa represents over 100 Catholic congregations of consecrated men and women in West Africa.
