Ho: 85 receive sacrament of confirmation

Bishop Emmanuel Kofi Fianu (SVD),  Bishop of Ho Diocese has administered the sacrament of confirmation to 85 candidates.

The confirmation ceremony took place on Sunday, February 28, 2023 at St. Cecilia parish, Ho.

Out of the 85, 12 candidates were from  St. Michael, an outstation to St. Cecilia and 73 candidates were from the main parish.

In a homily, Bishop Fianu admonished the candidates to learn more about the Catholic faith and build upon what they were taught throughout their study.

He noted that despite the fall of man into sin, God do not neglect the human race.  Rather, he sent his only son to come and redeem the world, “ Let our sins never separate us from the love of God,” Bishop Fianu said.

The Mass was concelebrated by Rev. Fr.  Anthony Dotsey and Rev. Fr. Carlos Tegbe.
