The 31st Supreme Knight of the Noble Order of the Knights of Marshall, Sir Kt Bro Sir Ernest Amoako-Arhen has been reported dead.
He is said to have died on March 6, 2023.
Sir Amoako-Arhen was the Vice President of the International Alliance of Catholic Knights.
A notice by the Nobel Order of Knights if Marshall said, “With deep regret, the Supreme Knight, Sir Kt Bro Patrick Kobina Anumel, announces the call to higher service of Sir Kt Bro Sir Ernest Amoako-Arhen.”
He served the Noble Order in various capacities, including Supreme Secretary of Finance from 2007 to 2013; Supreme Auditor from 2003 to 2007; Greater Accra Regional Welfare Officer from 2003 to 2005; first Grand Knight of Council 74 Accra Central from 2000 to 2002.
He received the Papal Award, St Gregory the Great on December 10, 2022 in recognition of his immense contribution to the Catholic Church.
