Vice President of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference and Bishop of the Ho Diocese, Most Rev. Emmanuel Kofi Fianu has expressed disappointment in the delay in fixing the Adomi-Ho stretch of road.
The road which got fixed recently as part of preparations for Ghana’s 66th independence anniversary celebrations was in bad shape and took commuters several hours to travel a distance that is about an hour’s journey.
The Bishop in a Facebook post expressed disappointment that it had to take the celebration in Ho to get the road fixed.
“Hhmm At long last, it is possible again to drive one hour from Ho to the Adomi Bridge
thanks to the celebration of Ghana@66 in Ho. But did we have to wait for that before fixing the road?” Bishop Fianu quizzed.
On March 6, 2023, Ghana marked its 66th Independence Day at Ho, the Volta Regional capital.
The event was co-hosted with the Adaklu District at the Volta Regional Youth Resource Centre at Adaklu.
