Accra Archdiocesan Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) has elected new officers for the year 2023 to 2024 tenure.
The election was held during a Management Council meeting held over the weekend.
The newly elected officers are Snr Cr Patrick Kpobi as Chairman, Snr Cr Maxwell Nyamekye as Vice Chairman, Snr Cr Emmanuel Kofi Appiah as Organizing Secretary, and Cr Enoch Adaletey as Assistant Organizing Secretary.
The meeting was attended by notable members of the CYO, including Snr. Cr.(Major Rtd) Abane Yaro-National Vice, D.Y.K. Frimpong Manso former Accra Archdiocesan Chairman, and current National Organizing Secretary elect Snr. Cr. Florence Awaitey. Also present were the AADCYC coordinator for Accra CYO, Miss Dora Cudjoe, and the Archdiocesan Youth Chaplain Rev. Fr. Alphonse Bulloro.
The new officers expressed their gratitude to the CYO members for the opportunity to serve and promised to work towards achieving the organization’s goals and objectives.
They also thanked the outgoing officers for their service and pledged to build on their achievements.
The Accra Archdiocesan CYO is one of the most active Catholic youth organizations in Ghana, and the new officers have a responsibility to maintain and improve its standard.
