Rev. Fr. Daniel Aboagye Adjei of the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocese has successfully defended his doctoral dissertation from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
His dissertation titled “Akan Traditional Religion and Catholicism in Dialogue: Envisaging a Paradigm Shift in the Theology of Marriage in Postmodern Ghana” explored the intersection between traditional Akan beliefs and Catholicism, with a focus on how these two belief systems can work together to strengthen the institution of marriage in Ghana.
His work is significant and is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of many Ghanaians.
