The Ho Marshallan Fraternity has on Sunday 23rd April 2023 joined Togbe Buami IX Chief of Gbi Bla at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Ho SSNIT Flat for his installation Thanksgiving Mass.
Togbe Buami IX, known in private life as Anthony Asempa is the right wing of Togbe Gabusu the Paramount Chief of the Gbi Traditional Area.
During a homily, Rev. Fr Michael Joy Akposu, the Parish Priest of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church admonished Catholics to make themselves readily available for Christ.
He urged Togbe Buami to lead his people with truthfulness, humility and always pray to God always for guidance.
He appealed to the faithful and Gbi Bla community to pray for Togbe Buami for a successful reign.
Togbe Buami IX is a senior Registrar at the Univeristy of Health and Allied Sciences Ho. Togbe Buami IX holds a Master of Laws in Human Rights from Staffordshire University, Stoke on Trent, UK; Common Professional Certificate in Law / Graduate Diploma in Law from Keele University, Keele, UK and B. A. Arts Honours Degree from University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
Togbi Buami IX is a staunch Catholic. He worships with the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Ho SSNIT Flat and is currently the church’s Parish Finance Committee Chairman. He is a member of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall Council 20, Ho where he serves as the Assistant Secretary.
He is also a member and the president of the Ho Executive Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI), which is the largest network of Christian Businessmen in the world.
Togbe is married to Madam Linda Enyonam Dossou. The marriage is blessed with two (2) children; Akpe Kofi Asempah and Amen Akua Asempah.
