Catholic Diocese of Sunyani get first Catholic Priest Prison Officer
Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Asare Bediako of the Catholic Diocese of Sunyani have successfully graduated from the Ghana Prisons Training School in Accra.
Rev. Fr. Asare Bediako now a Assistant Superintendent of Prison is the first Catholic Priest from the Diocese of Sunyani to join the Ghana Prison Service.
ASP Fr. Emmanuel Asare Bediako had his
Basic Education at St. Mary’s Preparatory and Junior High school and his secondary school at Sunyani Senior High school.
His Seminary education started
& Secondary school at St. James Minor Seminary and St. Gregory the Great Prov. Major Seminary, Parkoso-Kumasi.
Rev . Fr. ASP Emmanuel Asare Bediako
was ordained on 5th December, 2020 at Christ the King Cathedral, Sunyani.
After ordination he served at Christ the King Cathedral as Associate Cathedral Administrator from January 2021 to February 2023 before entering the Ghana Prisons Training School to be trained as Officer Cadet.
