The Holy Family Hospital, Techiman, in collaboration with Operation Restore Vision, USA, is set to provide free eye screening and surgeries for individuals suffering from cataracts. The initiative aims to offer special assistance and care to those in need and enhance their quality of life.
According to a letter addressed to the Cathedral Administrator of St. Paul’s Cathedral in the Catholic Diocese of Techiman, the screening event will take place from 26th to 30th June 2023 for screening and 1st to 7th July 2023 for surgeries at the Holy Family Hospital, Techiman.
The eye screening and bookings will be conducted at the Eye Clinic located within the Holy Family Hospital premises, with patients encouraged to avail themselves of the opportunity by visiting the hospital during the designated screening period.
The Holy Family Hospital, Techiman, known for its commitment to healthcare excellence, has been providing free medical screening and surgeries on several medical conditions, including hernia, lumps and bumps, hand deformities, bowel surgeries, goiter, tonsils, adenoid, gallbladder surgeries among others for vulnerable people within the catchment area of the hospital.
The collaboration with Operation Restore Vision, renowned for its expertise in cataract surgeries, will see the hospital provide patients will receive diagnosis and treatment for all eye-related problems.
