Most Rev. Emmanuel Kofi Fianu S.V.D, Catholic Bishop of Ho, has announced significant transfers and appointments within the Diocese aimed at providing effective pastoral care for the faithful of the Ho Diocese.
The changes have been prompted by the establishment of new quasi-parishes and alterations in clerical personnel across various parishes in the Diocese.
Effective from 1st July 2023, the following appointments have been made:
- Rev. Fr. Daniel Aliou, OMI – Director, Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, Agbenoxoe.
- Rev. Bro. Rafal Dabkowski, OMI – Assistant Director, Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, Agbenoxoe.
- Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Nwaneri, OMI – Parish Priest, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Agbenoxoe.
- Rev. Fr. Jean Baptiste Apouvi, OMI – Associate Priest, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Agbenoxoe.
Effective from 1st September 2023, the following appointments have been made:
- Rev. Fr. William Horlu – Parish Priest, SS. Peter and Paul Parish, Anfoega.
- Rev. Fr. Theophilus Ameka – Parish Priest, St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Quasi Parish, Aveme Beme.
- Rev. Fr. David Dodzi Zatey – Parish Priest, St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Ho Kpevele.
- Rev. Fr. Courage Dodzi Afu – Priest-in-Charge, St. Joseph Parish and Chaplain, Daniel Comboni Tech. School, Liati.
- Rev. Fr. Michael Akai – Associate Priest, St. Anthony Parish, Kpedze.
- Rev. Fr. Rudolf Tsekpo – Associate Priest, St. Anthony Parish, Kpedze.
- Rev. Fr. Francis Agala – Associate Priest, St. Aloysius Parish, Gbi Atabu.
- Rev. Fr. Francis Akoto – Associate Priest, St. Cecilia Parish, Ho Dome.
- Rev. Fr. Samuel Kornu – Chaplain, Mater Ecclesiae School, Sokode.

Effective from 13th September 2023:
- Rev. Fr. Ernest Asigbetse – Associate Priest, Holy Trinity Parish, Hohoe.
Effective from 10th October 2023:
- Rev. Fr. Foster Olator – Priest-in-Charge, Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom Quasi Parish, Sokode Lokoe.
- Rev. Fr. Anthony Azah – Priest-in-Charge, St. Raphael Quasi Parish, Kpando Dzoanti.
- Rev. Fr. Kizito Pesse Kumah – Associate Priest, Holy Cross Parish, Have.
- Rev. Fr. Paul Agbodza – Personal Secretary to Bishop Emeritus Francis A.K. Lodonu.
Bishop Fianu called upon all the priests affected by these transfers and appointments to embrace them with ecclesiastical obedience and a spirit of collaboration. He urged Parish Priests and Priests-in-Charge to welcome their new Associates and work together in a spirit of synodality for the betterment of pastoral ministry within the local Church.
