Rev. Noah Edmund Mensah was born on 15th October to Mr John Mensah and Mrs Vincentia Mensah Dimake.
Rev. Mensah started his basic education at Rjnbeek Catholic School.
After completing his Junior High School education, he went to Bishop Herman Senior High Kpando.
He began his priestly formation at St. Mary’s Minor Seminary for his pre-Philosophy studies. He then continued to St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary in Sowutuom for his spiritual and philosophical training. Subsequently, he went to St. Peter’s Regional Seminary in Pedu to pursue his Theology course.
He was ordained as a Deacon on December 20th, 2022, at Bishop Holland Memorial Pastoral and Formation Centre in Sokode Gborgame. The ordination was conducted by the Vice President of the Ghana Catholic Bishop’s Conference and the Bishop of Ho Diocese, Most Rev. Emmanuel Kofi Fianu S.V.D.
There were three other diocesan candidates and one candidate from the congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Redemptorist) who were also ordained on the same day.
He will be ordained as a Catholic Priest on 26th August, 2023, and he will celebrate his First Mass at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Likpe Agbozome.
