Rev. James Koku Konings Quarshie was born on November 11th to Mr. Francis Kpormeda and Madam Agnes Bidahor.
Rev. Quarshie started his basic education at Ss. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Primary School in Fodome Amele, and he attended Junior High School at Fodome Amele/Ahor M/A Junior High School.
After completing his Junior High School education, he proceeded to Afadjato Secondary and Technical Senior High School in Gbledi Gborgame.
Rev. Quarshie began his priestly formation at St. Mary’s Minor Seminary for his pre-Philosophy studies. He then continued to St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary in Sowutuom for his spiritual and philosophical training.
Subsequently, he went to St. Peter’s Regional Seminary in Pedu to pursue his Theology course.
He was ordained as a Deacon on December 20th, 2022, at Bishop Holland Memorial Pastoral and Formation Centre in Sokode Gborgame.
The ordination was conducted by the Vice President of the Ghana Catholic Bishop’s Conference and the Bishop of Ho Diocese, Most Rev. Emmanuel Kofi Fianu, SVD.
