In a noteworthy development, Professor Samuel Bert Boadi (Worthy Bro.), the Supreme Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of the Supreme Council of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall, has been appointed as the Dean of the Office of International Relations at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
This appointment also comes with Professor Boadi’s promotion to the rank of Associate Professor in the field of Optometry by the Governing Council of the University, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the academic community.
Professor Boadi’s journey to the Deanship follows his dedicated service at the University of Cape Coast, where he previously held key positions. He had been serving as the Vice Dean and subsequently took on the role of Acting Dean at the Office of International Relations since December 2021 and June 2023, respectively.
Prior to his recent appointment, Professor Boadi served as the Head of the Department of Optometry and Vision Science from 2019 to 2021.
Professor Samuel Bert Boadi also holds the position of President of the UCC Branch of the University Teachers Association, Ghana, and has served in the capacity for two terms.
In addition to his academic and institutional commitments, Professor Boadi serves as the President of the Ghana Optometric Association (GOA).
