One of the three Catholic schools competing at the semi-final stage of the National Science & Maths Quiz, St. Louis SHS could not advance to the finals stage father succumbing to Achimota School and Wesley Girls’ High School earlier today.
The competition, which took place at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), saw Achimota School clinch victory over formidable opponents with 41 points, Wesley Girls’ High School (31 points) and St. Louis SHS (26 points).
The scores at the end of each round showcased the intense battle that unfolded as Achimota represented by whizkids Elagbe Walter and Abiwu and Kenneth Bakhita Egbadzor carried the day with a 10-point margin of victory.
