Members of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference (GCBC) have concluded a week-long meeting in the Diocese of Sunyani.
This year’s Plenary Assembly, themed, “Fostering the growth of the Catholic Church in Ghana through Collaborative Ministry,” was chosen in direct response to a reported decline in the Catholic population in the West African Country.
The Bishops, at the end of their meeting issued a communique read by Most Rev. Emmanuel Kofi Fianu, SVD, Vice President of the Conference and Bishop of the Ho Diocese.
