President of the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocesan Priests Association, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Dolphyne, has highlighted the indispensable role of the African Religious community in spreading the message of love, tolerance, and unity, especially in today’s diverse and dynamic society.
Delivering a goodwill message at the opening of the 2024 African Religious Union, Ghana (ARUG) Congress, Rev. Fr. Dolphyne extended warm greetings from the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocesan Priests Association. He commended the religious community for commemorating the 50th anniversary under the theme “ARUG Beyond 50: The Role of the African Religious in Evangelization in Ghana.”
He emphasized the significance of reflecting on the religious community’s journey in Ghana and the profound impact of the African Religious Union. Fr. Dolphyne applauded the unwavering dedication of the religious community to evangelization, noting its enriching effects on spiritual lives and contributions to the social fabric of the nation.
“The African Religious Union Congress stands as a beacon of inspiration, guiding us towards a future where the principles of faith and community thrive.” He said.
