Reverend Father Paulus Afful of the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocese has officially assumed the role of formator at St. Paul’s Major Seminary in Sowutuom, Accra.
The appointment ceremony termed as the administration of the oath of fidelity and profession of faith was bestowed upon Fr. Afful by the Archbishop of Accra, Most Reverend John Bonaventure Kwofie.
Fr. Paulus Afful, born on October 8th, 1984, in Sekondi, and hailing from Aboadze, brings with him a wealth of experience and dedication to his new role as formator.
Fr. Afful was ordained to the priesthood on September 14th, 2013, and has since served the faithful diligently in various capacities.
Having obtained a First Degree in Religions and Sociology from the University of Ghana, Legon, Fr. Afful furthered his studies with a Licentiate in Philosophy, specializing in Ethics and Anthropology, in Rome.
Throughout his ministry spanning over a decade, Fr. Paulus Afful has exhibited commitment and compassion in his pastoral work. From serving in remote villages to ministering in mining communities and urban areas, he has demonstrated a fervent dedication to spreading the Gospel and shepherding souls towards Christ.
An individual of diverse interests, Fr. Afful’s passion for reading, appreciation for the sounds of nature, and eagerness to connect with new acquaintances reflect his multifaceted personality and genuine love for humanity.
