The Catholic Professional Guilds (CPG) of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra have partnered with Enterprise Life Insurance Company, facilitated by Westom Insurance Brokers, to introduce a groundbreaking welfare policy aimed at meeting the needs of members and their dependents.
The innovative scheme, dubbed ‘Boafo Pa’, offers substantial benefits ranging from GH¢10,000 to GH¢15,000 to members during times of bereavement and severe illness, providing crucial financial support when it’s needed most.
During the launching ceremony held at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Accra on Friday, February 16, 2024, three deserving beneficiaries were presented with a total of GH¢ 35,000 to address various pressing needs.
The ‘Boafo Pa’ policy offers gold and platinum packages with annual premiums of GH¢360 and GH¢480 respectively. Notably, the gold package provides benefits up to GH¢54,300, while the platinum package offers coverage of up to GH¢82,500. Critical illness benefits are set at GH¢5,000 for the gold package and GH¢7,500 for the platinum package.
Coordinator of the CPG, Mr. Edward Ayem expressed appreciation for the cooporation derrieved from various parties. He urged others to take advantage to secure some welfare for themselves and loved ones for unforseen times ahead.
For her part, Mrs. Adwoa Pinaman Acquah, Managing Director of Westom Insurance Brokers, expressed confidence in the partnership, assuring members of quality service delivery from Enterprise Life Insurance. She highlighted the absence of a “waiting period” in the policy, specially tailored for members of the Association, underlining the company’s commitment to prompt assistance in times of need.
