Requiem for late Fr. Joseph Gyimah to be held on February 29

The Catholic Diocese of Konongo-Mampong is inviting all friends and sympathizers to the Requiem for the late Rev. Fr. Joseph Savino Gyimah, which will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at the St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mampong.

The priest was a rector of St. Peter’s Rectorate in Kona.

He died on the morning of January 31, 2024, after being taken to the Pope John Paul II Medical Centre in Jamasi, on Tuesday, January 23.

The Requiem will start with the Office of the Dead at 9:00 am, to be followed by mass at 9:30 am. Final Commendation will be in Jamasi.

Fr. Joseph Gyimah was born on October 10, 1961. He dedicated his life in service to the Church and was ordained a priest on July 11, 1992, under the auspices of Most Rev. Peter Kwasi Sarpong.
