Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, the Right Honourable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has donated pews to the St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sombo, situated within the Nadowli-Kaleo District of the Upper West Region.
The Speaker, who identifies as Catholic, has deep-rooted connections to the community and fondly reminisces about his upbringing within its embrace.
According to a statement published on the Facebook page of the Parliament of Ghana, the Speaker said he sees the donation of the pews as an opportunity to give back to the institution that has been integral to his spiritual journey and personal development.
During the donation ceremony, Speaker Bagbin underscored the significance of fostering a strong sense of communal support and dedication to the service of God.
