Archbishop of Accra- Ghana, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie has lamented the prevalence of insincerity and insolent practices among those who frequent the Church.
Addressing a congregation at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Sapeiman on Divine Maercy Sunday, Archbishop Kwofie emphasized the importance of upholding best practices in the faith. “The Church needs people of best practices,” he declared.
“They go to Church, pray, and seek the truth in everything they do as people who love the Church,” he added.
According to the Archbishop Kwofie, on the contrary, persons who frequent the church and are expected to live by the dictates their their Christian faith, rather engage in acts that are not in tandem with the Christian faith.
“On the contrary,” he said, “people who frequent the Church are those who indulge in insincerity and insolent practices.”
He expressed deep concern over behaviors that he deemed incompatible with the Christian way of life, urging the faithful to reflect on their actions and strive for greater integrity.
