The Ghana National Catholic Youth Council ( GHANCYC) has unveiled it’s 50th Anniversary Logo.
The logo is made of the traditional colours of the Catholic Youth Yellow which represent a feeling of joy, happiness and inspires optimism and enthusiasm. The colour yellow also stimulates mental activity, creating and a sense of fun and adventure.
The White Colour in the logo represents purity, innocence and simplicity. White creates a sense of openness and new beginnings and evokes a feeling of freedom, clarity and a sense of possibilities.
The blue colour promotes a sense of serenity, stability and trust. Blue represents tranquility and peacefulness which is likened to intelligence and wisdom. Blue also emphasises the importance of knowledge for the youth in the church.
The colours in the anniversary Logo combine together create a vibrant and balanced psychological experience for the youth thereby promoting happiness, innocence and stability, encouraging creativity and responsibility.
The Rosary used in the logo represents a powerful catholic weapon of prayer and honour to Mother Mary. The rosary is in Red, Yellow and Green colours depicting the flag of Ghana.
The GHANCYC LOGO represents the diversity and unity of the council through the coming together of member bodies.
