The Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, C.S.Sp has announced the passing of Rev. Fr. Kibrom Tseggai.
The news of his death was announced in a message to priests, religious, and lay faithful of Accra on June 21.
According to the statement released by the Archbishop, Fr. Kibrom Tseggai, aged 77, breathed his last early this morning(June 21, 2024) at Nyaho Clinic, Accra.
Born on March 24, 1947, he was ordained as a priest for the Eritrean Catholic Eparchy of Keren on December 3, 1978. Throughout his decades of service, Fr. Kibrom touched the lives of many through his pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and compassionate presence.
“Heartfelt condolences go out to his family and his home Diocese,” Archbishop Kwofie expressed in his message, urging the faithful to remember Fr. Kibrom in their prayers. Plans for his final rites and burial will be communicated in due course.
