The 1965-66 year group of the St. Joseph Catholic Basic School in Adabraka has donated 20 tables to the school’s canteen.
The donation, made in partnership with TF Properties, aims to enhance the dining experience for current students and staff at their alma mater.
The generous initiative was spearheaded by the alumni group as part of their ongoing commitment to give back to the school that played a significant role in their formative years.
The presentation ceremony took place on June 25 where Mr. Peter Awity, representing the 1965-66 year group, handed over the tables to the school administration.
The Head Teacher of the School, Madam Belinda Sefakor Bulley received the items on behalf of the school. Appreciating the gesture, Assistant Head Teacher of the school, Rev. Fr. Klu expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the school community, highlighting the tables’ importance in providing a comfortable and conducive environment for students during meal times.
He acknowledged how such contributions significantly contribute to the school’s facilities and student welfare. He commended the alumni for their thoughtfulness and continued support towards St. Joseph Catholic School.
