In a homily delivered at the episcopal ordination of the Bishop-Elect for the Diocese of Wa, Msgr. Francis Bomansaan, Bishop Peter Paul Yelezuome Angkyier of the Catholic Diocese of Damongo shared profound insights on pastoral leadership and collaboration.
Noting the importance of understanding and engaging with one’s flock, Bishop Angkyier stated, “If you do not make a great effort to understand your flock, their concerns, their needs, it will be difficult to get them anywhere.”
He also encouraged openness and active communication among co-workers, urging them to recognize and appreciate the diverse gifts within the local Church.
The ordination and installation ceremonies took place at the Wa Sports Stadium on August 2.
