My most revered Cardinal, please what about the extensive teachings on the Care for our Common Home (Laudato Si)? You inspired the encyclical to be promulgated. How is it impacting on your own home land of highly environmental degradation?
We have CATHOLICS in every influencial sector of political, economic, religious and traditional (chieftancy) life.
How could the President and his Vice seek audience and have blessings from the Holy Father when they have destroyed many lives with their key roles played in NOT curbing but ENHANCING galamsey?
If Holy Father represents Jesus Christ, and the president and his vice have visited in an election year, without us hearing or reading that they were questioned and cautioned about the stubborn menace, then we (Catholic Church), are also RESPONSIBLE for the wrecking of the nation because we are the BODY of Christ, and we are visibly represented on the National Cathedral Board. Jesus condemned evil deeds. St. Paul and the apostles did same.
How can we build a house for God whose people we are consciously DESTROYING. That is also a form of hypocrisy as Jesus would put it.
PLEASE CARDINAL, I have always admired you especially when it comes to practical interventions in the lives of the poor and vulnerable in society. It is written all over in Cape Coast Archdiocese. Kindly do us a favour of moving all stakeholders to ACT RESPONSIBLY ASAP.
I know someone may say: “but he is only to preach”. Yes, and I know how POWERFUL WORDS are than bullets. You are the most influencial man of God in Ghana because you stand the chance of becoming the Vicar of Christ.
I am united in prayer and hopeful of a positive change which no other political or traditional leader can alter for the sake of the poor and voiceless citizen.
