The Osu Deanery Youth Council has bid farewell to their chaplains, Rev. Frs. Mark Mandela Anyigbah and Edward Agbeobila.
Both chaplains are being transferred to new parishes: St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Mepe and Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kasseh, Kajanya, Addokope, respectively.
The event was a vibrant mix of heartfelt speeches, uplifting music, and heartfelt tributes, each echoing the profound impact the chaplains have had on the youth ministry.
Attendees, including loved ones and council members, conveyed their deep appreciation for the chaplains’ commitment to the spiritual growth of young people in the Deanery.
As a token of their gratitude, the council presented the chaplains with thoughtful gifts, symbolizing the strong and enduring bonds formed through their service.
The September 1 evening was a blend of joy and nostalgia, with moments captured in group photographs and prayers offered for their future endeavors.
In their parting speeches, both chaplains expressed that while their new assignments will take them to different places, the cherished memories and the love they received from the Osu Deanery will remain with them always.
