The Koforidua-Ho Grand’s 1st Regiment of the 2nd District Commandery and Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John International (KSJI) held a Memorial Day Mass on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at St. Peter Claver Cathedral, Jasikan in memory of their departed brothers and sisters.
This solemn ceremony, mandated by the Supreme Constitution of the Order, brought together members to pay tribute to those who have gone before them.
Rev. Fr. Eli Godwin Pasah and Rev. Fr. Godwin Asante co-celebrated the Mass, with Rev. Fr. Asante delivering a heartfelt sermon urging members to strive for personal salvation to attain heavenly glory. Col. Bliss Kokroko, Commander of the District, emphasized the importance of fraternal love for all, promoting unity and compassion among members.
The celebration was attended by esteemed officers from the Supreme Subordinate, Grand, and District levels, demonstrating the KSJI’s commitment to honoring its fallen members. The event was reported by Col. Vincent Dela Goka.
