The final funeral rites for late Rev. Fr. Theodore Emil Kwame Hevi of the Diocese of Ho-Ghana has been announced.
In an official statement, the Bishop of Diocese, Most Rev Emmanuel Kofi Fianu SVD, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the 63-year-old Fr Theodore Emil Kwame Hevi, who passed on the Cardio Centre of the Korle Bu Hospital Accra, on Thursday, 2nd January 2025.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, 22 January 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish Ho Kpevele at 9:00am with an Office of the Dead followed by the Requiem Mass.
The late Clergy man will be laid to rest at the Priests’ Cemetery at the Bishop Holland Memorial Pastoral and Formation Centre in Sokode Gbogame.
Fr. Theodore Hevi was born on 28 August 1961 in Buem Kute and was ordained into the priesthood on 29 July 1989 at Bodada.
At the time of his passing, he was the Ho Diocesan Director of Catechetics and Parish Priest of St. Anthony Parish, Kpedze.
Bishop Fianu encouraged all faithful to pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of Fr Hevi and console his immediate family and all who served him during his lifetime
