The Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp, has made two key appointments aimed at strengthening the pastoral and administrative work of the Archdiocese of Accra.
The appointment of the two was confirmed in a statement signed and issued by Rev. Fr. Derrick Dowuona-Hammond, Secretary to the Archbishop.
- Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Acheampong has been appointed as the Chaplain of the Archdiocesan Christian Mothers’ Association. Fr. Acheampong, who is presently the Parish Priest of Holy Rosary Church in Adenta, will provide spiritual leadership and guidance to members of the association, fostering their faith and engagement in church activities.
- Mr. Edwin Addo Tawiah has been appointed as a Consultant to the Archdiocesan Lands and Estate Department. Mr. Tawiah, who has extensive experience working at the Lands Commission and the Survey Department, will be responsible for advising on the effective management, development, and stewardship of the Archdiocese’s land and estate assets. He studied Geodetic Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, and is an alumnus of St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School. Mr. Tawiah currently resides in Accra and is married.
