Beloved Child of God, why have you settled at the crossroads of life? Is it because you have lost virtually everything, are disappointed, depressed and fed up with starting all over again?
Sorrows may come in the night, but joy comes in the morning, my child!
Though things may take time to fall back into place, no situation is permanent. Hold on to your faith, keep trying, and keep moving forward.
Sometimes, in our lowest moments, we may feel completely abandoned and dejected, and God may seem far away from us. He may seem not to answer as we continue knocking at His door. He may seem deaf to our pleas, but He is right there with us—closer to us than we can ever think or imagine.
How can the One who loved us first, to the point of sharing His life with us so that we may live, ever leave us?
Jeremiah says, “I know the plans I have for you” (Jeremiah 29:11).
Isaiah says, “Even if a mother forgets her child, I, the Lord, will never forget you.”
Isaiah also says, “He has written our names in the palm of His hands.” He loves us and cares for us.
Terror, hardships, worries and troubles may come, but He is the Covenant-Keeping God, the God of our Fathers.
As He did for our Fathers of old, so shall He remember His covenant and do it again in our time.
Just be strong and trust in His faithfulness.
Once He has promised, He will surely do it.
Be patient and give Him some time.
Never think that you are late in life or become uncertain about how, when or through whom He will do it.
Proverbs 21:31 says, “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory belongs to the Lord.”
You might have lost countless opportunities and relationships, your finances and so much more, making you feel that suicide is the best way to end everything.
Child of God, that is never the answer, nor is it the end.
Have you thought of how much you mean to your family, the countless people who look up to you, how deeply God loves and cares for you, and the reality of life after death?
What would you tell Jesus?
Never, ever give up. For He who has called you is faithful, and He will surely do it.
All you need to do is ask for His divine strength to persevere as you carry this Cross with hope and love.
It may be a termination of appointment, the loss of a dear one, or a terminal illness, but there is nothing the Lord cannot do.
Just place it at His feet and keep knocking at His door of mercy. The goodness and mercy of the Lord shall plead your cause and rewrite your story anew.
Take away your testimony and go, Child of God!
