The Fr. Campbell SVD Foundation on Thursday, July 17, 2025, paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama to congratulate him and introduce the Foundation’s humanitarian work and future plans.

Led by founder and Board Chair, Fr. Andrew Campbell, the delegation highlighted the Foundation’s key initiatives, including care for cured lepers, the reintegration of street children through the GEOP LOT 7B Project at the Weija Leprosarium, and other upcoming development efforts.

The team also extended a personal invitation to the President for Fr. Campbell’s 80th birthday celebration in March 2026.

President Mahama, who warmly received the delegation, commended the Foundation’s commitment to uplifting the vulnerable and pledged his support in mobilizing potential benefactors.

A painting by a cured leper, presented as a token of appreciation, was received with gratitude by the President. The visit ended with warm exchanges and photo opportunities, affirming a shared commitment to human dignity and service.
