The Accra West Grand Commandery of the Knights of St. John International (KSJI) has handed over the second phase of a Formators’ Bungalow project to St. Paul Catholic Seminary in Accra.
The handing-over ceremony, held on Friday, March 6, 2026, was preceded by a Mass celebrated by Most Rev. John Louis, Auxiliary Bishop of Accra.
The newly completed facility is a fully self-contained three-bedroom bungalow with a living room, kitchen, dining area and study space. The project forms part of efforts to improve accommodation for formators at the seminary.
The first phase of the project, which was also a three-bedroom bungalow, was handed over in March 2023. With the completion of the second phase, the project is now fully completed three years after its commencement.

According to organisers, the facility will help address accommodation challenges faced by formators and enhance their engagement and interaction with seminarians.
Also present at the ceremony was the Rector of the seminary, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Okine Quartey, together with his team of formators.
The event was attended by the Grand Presidents, Brig. Gen. James Amissah and Noble Sister Elizabeth Kingsley-Arthur, supported by members of the Joint Grand Board.
During the ceremony, special recognition was given to Brig. Gen. Sir Vincent Dela Selormey for his outstanding charity and support towards the completion of the project.
Organisers expressed gratitude to all Knights and Ladies whose contributions in cash, materials and encouragement helped make the project a success.
