The IMCS Pax Romana Ghana has unveiled its theme for 2026 at its first National Consultative Meeting, held in Jamasi in the Catholic Diocese of Konongo-Mampong.
The four-day meeting, which ran from 27 February to 1 March at the Divine Providence Centre, brought together national and local leaders of the Catholic student movement to reflect, plan, and set priorities for the year ahead.
Inspired by the Catholic Church’s theme for the year, “Called to Justice; Sent for Peace,” the federation adopted the same focus as its guiding theme for 2026.
The National Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Dr. Anthony Naah, told participants that members are called to serve as ambassadors of justice and peace within their communities and across the country. He emphasised that the movement’s motto, centred on the liberation of peace, challenges members to promote fairness, transparency and harmony in all their activities.
He also stressed that seeking justice should be a way of life rather than a slogan, urging members to act with integrity and contribute positively to society.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by IMCS Pax Romana Ghana to remain an active force for justice and peace in 2026 and beyond.
